Mode of Action:
Paraquat inhibits photosynthesis by disrupting the plant's electron transport system in the chloroplasts, leading to the production of toxic reactive oxygen species (ROS). These ROS damage plant cells, causing rapid chlorosis (yellowing) and eventual plant death within a few hours of application.
